Domaine des Hirondelles is situated in the "Perigord Noir", the most beautiful part of the  Dordogne, in the South-West of France. The gites are situated in a beautiful and shady garden with a large swimming pool. In the garden there are several lounge. Playground, petanque court and a sports field.
 

The domaine is beautifully situated in a valley, surrounded by many historic castles and at a short distance from the river Dordogne. It has a unique view of the imposing medieval castle of Beynac and is located 12 km from the famous town of Sarlat. For children there are many exciting theme parks, not to mention the numerous castles and caves.In the vicinity are many restaurants. We can recommend a trip to the wine regions go, such as Bergerac, Bordeaux and Saint Emilion with free wine tasting.
In the immediate area are the many towns and villages with their weekly markets and a lively local tourist attractions. Beautiful towns to visit: Sarlat, Domme, Cahors, Rocamadour and Bergerac.
 

There are golf courses nearby. There are two tennis courts at 3 km. There is a canoe – kayak boarding station at 800 m. Angling and horseback riding at 2 km. Opportunities for nice walking tours and mountain biking. Airparc Périgord at 500m, which is an adventure course that is situated on an island in the river Dordogne.
